Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Airens PTO, bridgers, good hope

Question
Hey Mr.Bridgers, i am fed up to no end with my PTO not engaging on my airens 1742 riding mower model #936032. The mower starts but i cannot get the PTO to engage or make any motion/noise at all when i pull the switch up on the console. I have checked all 3 relays in the mower for proper operation and the switch is working as well. When you lift the switch the light on the dash marked PTO illuminates to indicate. I looked over the diagram on the airens parts radar online to try and figure out where exactly the PTO is located so that i can maybe see if the wires came a loose or ohm it out to see if the coil is bad, or to make sure voltage is actually making its way to the PTO. The diagram is crap and really appreciate any help, suggestions or clarity in troubleshooting this thing. Thanks greatly in advance John!

Answer
Hello Rob:

The PTO is Attached to the Crankshaft on the Lower Side of the Engine. Make Sure the PTO Ground is Making Good Connection to Ground. This is a Common Problem with PTOs Not Working if the Relay is Good. Hope this Helps. I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Let me Know What Happens, Please. Thanks.

Good Luck
