Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): help, briggs and stratton, hp motor

Question
on my go cart i have a bribbs and statton 5 hp motor. It dose not run unless i have the choke on full. I just got a bran new carb from briggs and stratton,mounted it on thinking that was the problem but it does the same thing. I think there is to much vacuum or not enough gass.Can u help

Send me the Model Numbers Off the Engine, Please. With these I can Locate the Proper Manual and Better Assist you. However, Check the Gas Tank Cap and Ensure it is Venting the Tank Properly.
