Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Homelite generator, amp circuit breaker, generator section

Question
QUESTION: Eric,
I have just picked up a Homelite 7500w 180A generator basically identical to your 5/23 posting by Casey that runs great, but does not generate power. I was told it ran fine at camp last fall. I am looking to find a pdf file or manual on the generator and wiring with your input on what to look for or expect. Thanks for your time. Dan

ANSWER: Have you checked the circuit breaker?

Here is a site from Generac that may help.

QUESTION: There are none visible. Would there be one under a shield? Do you think that this may be a Generac unit generator?

Answer
Is there a UT number on the generator?   Homelite uses a UT number to identify there model numbers.  The UT number is typed on a siliver sticker about 1 inch long.

Most circuit breakers on located on the generator section or on the front panel where the electric plugs are located.  There should be a 20 amp circuit breaker on you generator set, usually a small round button.
Let me know if you find the UT number.
