Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): JD GX75 Blowing Oil and Gas?, oil leaks, riding mower

Question
I have a GX75 riding mower and am having some engine trouble. It has been very dry where I live and have not used my mower for 5 or 6 weeks. I pushed the mower out of my storage shed and noticed a puddle of oil on the floor of the shed. I checked the oil level of the engine before I attempted to start and it was a little low, so I topped it off. I choked the engine to start as I normally do, the engine started easily but was smoking badly, it idled fine at low throttle but when I increased the throttle the engine stopped. I repeated this about 2 more times then I noticed what appears to be a mixture of oil and gas coming out of the muffler. The oil that is on the dipstick is as clear as it was the day I changed it so I do not feel there is gas in the oil or oil in the gas for that matter. The last time I used my mower, 5 or 6 weeks ago there was no oil leaks and the engine never smoked, not even on start up. I took another look at the mower today and it is leaking oil from the back side of the engine where the muffler is located. The engine is a 9hp Kawasaki factory engine, all help is greatly appreciated.

Answer
Are you sure it's oil.  Sounds like combustion condensation to me.  Ever notice when you start your car you get small drips of water coming out of the tail pipe.  The same thing is happening here.  Fire that sucker up, let it run about 10 minutes and the condensation is gone.
