Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): education, authorized service center, paper manuals

Question
Can you point me in the right direction? I would like to learn how to repair small engines and start working out of my garage. Where do i start?

Answer
Hello Greg:

There are a Few Technical Schools that Offer a Course in Small Engine Basic Repairs. For What you are Considering, you are Going to Need Shop Service Manuals on the Different Engines and the Lawn Equipment Itself. Some of the Breakdown/IPLs are Avaliable for Online Viewing, so you Will Not Require the Paper Manuals like I have. If you Become an Authorized Service Center for Briggs, Tecumseh and Some of the Other OEMs; they can Provide Further Information on Courses and Special Offers for Training. I Suggest you Pick an Engine and Do a Complete Rebuild and Collect Information as you Proceed with the Rebuild. I am Still Collecting Information and Will Continue to Do So Until the Shop Closes. This Comes with the Job. LOL. Send me your Email Addy and Mark the Question "Private" so I am the Only Person to See the Addy. I can Then Forward More Information to you that I have in my PC Files. Hope this Helps. I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Let me Know What Happens, Please. Thanks.

Good Luck

Respectfully
