Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): fuel leak, briggs stratton engine, briggs stratton

Question
I have a two year old pressure washer (Briggs&Stratton engine) that's only been used twice. This year when I tried to start it for the first time, I filled the gas tank and watched as all the gas ran out of what I'm guessing is the carburetor. I'm guessing the float is stuck but I have no idea how to fix repair a carburetor. Short of taking it to the shop, is there anything I can try at home?
Thanks.

Answer
Can you do disc brakes on the front of your car.  If yes pull the carb off,(the thing leaking gas) and disassemble.  Blast the hell out of everything with Gumout. Reassemble and wash your brains out.

If you can't do your brakes you can't do this repair.  Try tapping on the side of the carb with a screwdriver handle.  It might fix it.
