Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): shutoff cable replacement, craftsman lawn mower, sears craftsman

Question
The cable that connects the hand release bar to the motor shutoff mechanism on my Sears Craftsman lawn mower, Model 917.372852broke. I want to install a new one but can't figure out how it was routed. It seems that when the bar is relaeased the cable moves in a direction opposite to that in which the release mechanism should move.

I need to know how the original cable was routed. Was there some sort of reversing wheel, etc that I might have lost?
Is there any site on the internet where I can look at the actual cable routing?
Thank you for any help you can offer.

Answer
Hello Frank:

Other than the Breakdown/IPL at the Sears Site, I Dont have Any Resources for the Engine Stop/Brake Cable Routing. I Looked at a Few in the Shop and They All Simply Pulled the Cable and the Cable Pulled the Release and Disconnected the Engine Stop Switch. The Spring Stretched and Pulled the Cable and Returned the Control Bracket to the Engine Off Position. I Have Searched Several Sites and They Show NO Reverse Wheel or ect. Sorry, I Can Not be of More Assistance. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.

Good Luck
