Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Load exhaust, craftsman eager 1, sears craftsman

I was given a Sears Craftsman Eager 1 lawnmower (model # 9173722852) I was told it needed a muffler, I have gone to the Sears part site but it does not list a muffler.

Can you help me with this?  Does it actually have a muffler?  Or the part list mentions several baffles and I was wondering if that is what is wrong.

Hello John:

You have to Look Under the Engine Model Numbers to Locate the Muffler. The Engine Model Numbers According to the Sears Site is 143.434162. The Muffler Part Number is 27181B and it Comes with the Mounting Bolts, Part Number 650795. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.
