Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Electrical Problem, john deere l110 lawn tractor, john deere l110

Question
I have a john deere L110 lawn tractor that was running fine last week, this week I pulled it backwards out of the garage and I get nothing.  There isn't any current coming from the batter to even make the light on the hours meter to light up.    I don't think it is the battery, but will check it tomorrow morning.  Trouble shooted the recommendations in the owners manual.  Any ideas on why I'm not getting any juice?  No clicks or anything.

Answer
Hello Dawna:

From your Description, it Sounds like a Safety Switch (if the Battery has a Full Charge and is Good). On Some Model Mowers the Headlights Don't Work Until the Engine is Running. Check the Safety Switches. Start with the Clutch/Brake Switch, then the Blade/PTO Switch and then the Seat Safety. You can View a Breakdown/IPL of the Mower at this Site Addy, http://jdpc.deere.com/jdpc/servlet/com.deere.u90490.partscatalog.view.servlets.H... and Enter the Model Numbers and Click Find. Then Select the Sectional File. Then Select the Section of the Mower you Wish to View Online. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.

Good Luck
