Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): pressure washer problem, crankcase oil, arinet

Question
i have a troybuilt pressure washer with about 20 working hours on it, yesterday oil was coming out of the air filter when i tried to use it, what is causing this and how can i fix it, i am not using it until i get it fixed.it has a honda 6.0 horsepower model gc190

Answer
Hello Eric:

You can View a Breakdown/IPL of the Mower at this Site Addy, http://hayward.arinet.com/scripts/EmpartISAPI.dll?MF&app=ASP&lang=EN&TF=Mainfram... and Select the Catalog American Honda. Was the Crankcase Oil Overfilled? Does the Crankcase Oil Smell like Gas? Check the Crankcase Vent and ensure it is Functioning Properly. If the Crankcase Oil is Overfilled and Smells like Gas, then the Carburetor Needle Isn't Stopping the Gas Flow as Designed. Remove, Disassembled and Soaked Overnight in Carburetor Cleaner (I Use Gunk). Then Blow Out the Passages with Compressed Air and Install a New Kit if Required. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.

Good Luck
