Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): changing oil, spark plug wire, filler plug

i have a mtd self propeled lawn mower model 124-488f118 serial no: 1d144c40149 brigs engine i cannot find a drain plug for draining oil is there one and where

Have you looked on the bottom of the deck, usually they are under the mower deck it will look like a square hole and that's the way to drain the oil, Warm the engine up a little then shut it off remove the spark plug wire from the spark plug. remove the square drain plug and let the oil drain out also loosen the oil filler plug to let it drain easier.
