Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): scotts riding lawnmower model S1642 kohler 16hp, starter solenoid, jumper cable

Question
mower wont start. replaced starter and spark plug and oil.  When I turn the key
it clicks but does not turn over. Seems to be an electrical problem but I'm having
a problem troubleshooting.

If the Clicking is from the Solenoid, then to Check the Starter Solenoid. Use a Jumper Cable Set and Attach the Positive Lead to the Positive Post of the Battery. Firmly Touch the Small Post at the Base of the Starter Solenoid. If the Engine Turns, then Check the Safety Switches. The Brake/Clutch Safety First and then the Blade Safety Switch. If it Doesn't Turn and the Solenoid Just Clicks, then the Solenoid is Bad. Hope this Helps. I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Let Me Know What Happens, Please. Thanks.
