Mower was working great,it quit runing after black smoke
came out of exhaust like flooded.took air cleaner off raw gas in thoart.After setting over night would,but only would
run for few seconds.Should I get new carb.?Would like some ideas                       Rich

Check the Crankcase Oil for Gas. You can Clean and Rebuild or Replace the Carburetor. Your Choice. From your Description, it Sounds like the Carburetor Float Needle has Stuck. A Simple Cleaning and Rebuild should Cure the Problem. The Rebuild Kit is Approximately $15.00. Send me the Model Numbers Off the Engine, Please.
