Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): 18 hp kawasaki, kubota tg1860g, fuel system service

Question
kubota tg1860g valve problem fixed at 18 hrs. no problems until 200 hrs with engine cutting out.had feul system cleaned . ran about an hr same problem. noticed air in fuel filter or lack of fuel.could this be my problem. engine not picking up fuel.

Answer
You never really told me what your actual problem is. The fuel filter will always be almost completely empty. It's a physics thing. Sounds like you still have a dirty carb. When you had the fuel system cleaned was there fuel line and a fuel filter on the invoice. If no, you got a halfass fuel system clean out.
The carb problem isn't caused by the carb itself it is always caused by the lines, filter or fuel quality.
If you don't have lines and filter on your invoice take the unit back and have them fix it right. Then don't ever go back to that shop again!
FYI... in my shop we will not guarantee a fuel system service unless we replace the lines and filter and remove the tank and clean it also!
