Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Engine sputters, gasoline fuel, full tank

Question
I just bought a used pressure washer.  B&G 3.5hp.  This unit worked great until I filled the gas tank. It came with a full tank.  Now it sputters after it runs fine for about the first 5 seconds.  I replaced
the gas with no change

Answer
The problem is with the carb not the fuel. (by the way we call gasoline fuel. Gas is what you get after to many burritos.)The old fuel has done it's damage and clogged the carb's jets.
Remove the carb and clean it well. Your problems will be gone.
FYI...According to Briggs and John Deere, current fuel available at the pump has a shelf life of about 45 days.
