Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Murray Lawn Mower, carborator, hello bill

I had a new carborator put on my lawn tractor last year. When I run it this year, it coughs and sputters. It will only run with the throttle in the choke position. When I took off air filter there seemed to be a lot of excess fuel.

Hello Bill:

Remove, Disassemble and Soak the Carburetor Overnight in Carburetor Cleaner (I use Gunk). Then Blow Out the Passages with Compressed Air. Since this is a New Carburetor; If Done Properly you Should Not Require a New Kit. Hope this Helps. I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Let Me Know What Happens, Please. Thanks.
