Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): murray riding mower, cotter pin, wheel

Question
have a murray riding mower that runs good, but has a tire that won't hold air. the center of wheel has a cap over it. How do i get the wheel off to get the tire replaced or repaired?

Take the cap off the wheel and there you will find a nut and washer and maybe a cotter pin remove that and the wheel will come off. Take it to a dealer that can take it off for you, as they are a pain and if you do it wrong you ruined the bead on the new tire.
