Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Blade Adapter, lawnboy, select start

Hi John, i asked you earlier about why my 8072 Lawnboy is using so much gas, and you told me to clean the exhaust.  Well, i got the blade off, but i haven't a clue how to get this square shaped adapter off.  I can't tell how it goes on for one thing.  I'm frustrated, plz help!  Thank u very much for your time.

You can View a Breakdown/IPL of the Mower at this Site Addy, https://lookup3.toro.com/partdex/default.cfm?xCaller=LawnBoy and Select Start Parts Viewer. Then Enter the Model Numbers. The Blade Adapter can be Removed by Using a Puller. The Puller is Tightened and then Hit with a Hammer and Re-Tightened and Hit Again Until the Blade Adapter Loosens and Can be Removed. The Blade Adapter is Held in Place Much like the Flywheel; a Wedge Fit. Sometimes Heat May be Required to Help Remove the Adapter. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance.
