QuestionI have a kohler cv15s the wires in the plug are as follows red goes to carb. solenoid. which would need power all the time the engine is on.... right? The next wire runs up to the spark plug timing block thingamabob that one also needs power all the time......right? ok now what I have no clue about...two more wires that run together into the heart of this thing..... charging???...if so does one go on the pos. and one on the neg. one is white one is black
AnswerWOW someone has thier wires crossed.
The red wire is the charge wire. The black wire goes to a good ground. The thingamabob is the coil and if you send 12 volts to this component you just fried a 40.00 part. The white wire goes to the thingamabob.
The 12 volt wire on the coil actually goes to the carb.
