thanks for your previous reply.you asked for engine #s to be more specific.the model# first 2 digits are wore off.third digit looks like it might be 2 .then 417.like this(??2417).type#0215 01.code#80010711.decal on engine says 11hp syncro balance.black motor.what year motor?remember my carb was missing but control plate there.my manual says first 2 digits should be 25.  thanks for the help. refer to 4-19 question for clearification. your help is very much appreciated john! ps need governor linkage also.

Thanks Scott. Go to this Addy, http://www.outdoordistributors.com/ and Select the B. Then Select Briggs and Stratton. Then Select Don't have Part Numbers. Then Select the File #25. Then Select the Folder #252400. This will Download a Breakdown/IPL of the Engine. The Carburetor is Shown on Page 7 of 25 and Page 8 of 25. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance.
