Question
paul i would like to know if i got electrical promblems or engine promblems i got spark the starter spins flywheel but engine won't crank. i put fuel in spark plug hole but it won't crank compression is 150. shined flashlight through spark plug hole seen carbon on piston.what else could i check.please help.also could u tell me how to bypass the seat switch.

Answer
Install a new spark plug first, NOT A CHAMPION, use an NGK BPR5ES.
Turn off fuel shutoff valve (use this every time you park the mower)
Give engine a short, 3 seconds, blast of gumout down the carb throat and start the engine.
If this works either replace the carb (a rebuild will not hold) or use the shutoff valve EVERY time.
Definetly not electrical if you have spark.
I could tell you how to bypass the seat switch, but then I'd have to kill you.
