Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Briggs & Stratton Fuel pump, auxiliary fuel tank, briggs stratton

Question
I have an older (late 80's early 90's ?) 4000watt generator powered by a Briggs & Stratton 8hp IC engine.  It only has a 4 quart fuel tank and typically will only run for 2-3 hours on a tank full.  I would like to use a larger auxiliary fuel tank to run this generator for extended periods.  Some of the applications for these engines used a pulse type fuel pump.  I need to know where the pulse line was hooked up.  Do they use intake pulses (necessitating a connection to the intake manifold be made) or do they use the crankcase pulses?  If so where does the pulse line typically connect?

Answer
Hello Mark:

The Pulse Pumps Uses the Intake for the Pulse. You can Use an Electric Gas Pump if you have a Battery to Run the Pump. Use a 3 to psi Pump. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.

Good Luck
