Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Craftsman DLM 6.5 hp, wheels tires, drive components

I have the Craftsman 6.5 rear wheel gear drive. Model 917.377661 It has drive on the right side that seams to be normal. drive on the right side is not working. When you raise mower drive wheels off the ground they have power, but when you put it down on the ground the right wheel stops pulling, help please, Phil

 Hello Phil:

 Go to this Addy http://www3.sears.com/ and Enter the Model Numbers in the Search Box at the Upper Left. Then Verify the Equipment and Click Continue. Then Select View Diagram of the Wheels/Tires/V-Belt. In the Diagram; Numbers 49 thru 54 are the Wheel Drive Components. Check these and the Wheel for Damage. Also Check Diagram Number 14.
