Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Honda Carburetor, honda lawnmower, carburetor problems

Question
I have a honda lawnmower. It won't start and I think it's because there was some gas left in it over the winter and the carburetor is either clogged or has gone bad. How do I clean out the carburetor? Or do I need a new one? If so, how do I replace it?

Answer
 Hello Michael:

You should Not Have to Replace the Carburetor. Usually a Good Overnight Soaking in Carburetor Cleaner and Some Compressed Air to Blow Out the Passages and a New Kit will Solve Most Carburetor Problems. Go to this Addy http://www.honda-engines-eu.com/en/service/spareparts/heepartscatalogue/index.js... and Select the Model and Type Mower you have. This Addy will Get you to a Breakdown/IPL of the Mower and Engine. Usually a Breakdown/IPL of the Carburetor is Located with the Engine Breakdown/IPL. Hope this Helps. I am Here if you Require more Assistance. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.

 Good Luck
