Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): John Deere ride on, sectional index, lx188

Question
I was mowing on my rideon LX 188 John Deere (approx 8 years old V twin liquid cooled Kawasaki 17 hp motor) when I stopped. I have checked there is no ignition lights, will not crank. Battery voltage is 12.51 volts. Good battery and terminal. all electicas dead.

 Hello Phil:

 Have you Checked the Fuse Link? Go to this Addy http://jdpc.deere.com/jdpc/servlet/com.deere.u90490.partscatalog.view.servlets.H... and Enter the Model Numbers LX188 and CLick Find. Then Select the Mower from the Results Area. Then Select Sectional Index. Then Select Electrical. Now Select the Breakdown/IPL for your Mower. From your Description it Sounds like the Fuse/Fuse Link has Popped and Needs to be Replaced. If the Fuse Link is Good, then Check the Ignition Switch. Hope this Helps.
