Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Generator will not say running, fuel tank, air compressor

Hello I have a Craftsman Gen Model:580-32791 Watts:2200 (sears )Does start but stalls and dies.
I did a Carburetor kit on it but I suspect it might the throttle and the governor linkage any help. Thank you

Governors are very reliable as long as no one messes with them.  Did the generator sit for a period of time without running?  If so, was gas in the fuel tank?  If the answer is yes then you most likely still have a carburetor problem.  In fact, the most common carb problem is the engine starts but then dies.

Did you remove, dis-assemble and clean the carb with compressed air from an air compressor?  Did you soak the carburetor in solvent, spary the orfices with carb cleaner and then clean with compressed air?
