Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): snapper hydro, pressure valve, model numbers

Question
yesh sir, i have a snapper hydro the mower runs great but when l let off of the clutch the transmission has a whining sound if you drive it for a while the sound goes away a little but can still hear it, but as soon as you push the clutch the whining stops, what could this be?

Answer
 Hello Jamie:

There are Several causes for this Noise. Low Oil or a Sticking Pressure Valve are Just a Couple of the Possibilities. Send me the Model Numbers Off the Mower and Off the Transaxle OEM Plate, Please. With these Numbers I can Locate a Breakdown/IPL and Better Assist you. Thanks.

 Respectfully

 John
