Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): small lawn mower wont start, kathy change, table spoons

Question
Hello!  I have a small lawn mower (push) that I couldn't get started this weekend.  It has both an electric start and a pull start line.  The engine seems to want to start, but just never catches.  Both oil and gas were full.  Any suggestions where I can check next?

Answer
 Hello Kathy:

Change the Spark Plug. If Still Dooesn't Start, then Remove the Air Filter and Pour a Small Amount of Gas Into the Carburetor Throat(approx 2 table spoons). What Happens? If the Engine Starts and Quits, then the Carburetor Needs to be Removed, Disassembled and Soaked Overnight in Carburetor Cleaner. hen Blow Out the Passages with Compressed Air. Install New Kit. Send me the Make, Model, Type and Code Numbers Off the Engine, Please. With these Numbers I can Locate a Breakdown/IPL and Better Assist you. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Thanks.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully

 John
