Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Briggs 12.5 HP Ignition on Troy-Bilt Wide Cut, crank shaft, battery switch

Question
John, I just replaced the original 8.5hp briggs motor with a 12.5hp briggs Model#286707 Type 043701 and need to know how to how to hook up the ignition w/ an electric starter to the battery & switch. The engine has one black lead with a round connector coming out the side crankcase and two more wires coming out under the crank shaft (red & black into a connector). Can you tell me how I hook this up and the part needed to do so. I am installing it on a Troy-Bilt 33" wide cut mower Model 34342.
Thanks for your help,
Jerry
