Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): weed eater not starting, starter fluid, weed eater

Question
I have an echo srm-2100 that doesn't start up its about 8 years old.
took it for repairs once for cleaning due to lack of power then it was fine for a
couple of years. any ideas?

 Remove the Muffler and Check the Exhaust for Carbon Blockage. Check the Muffler and Spark Arrestor Screen for Blockage Also. Will the Trimmer Start and Quit if you Use Starter Fluid?
