Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): McCULLOCH 2.0 chainsaw, carburetor jets, air mixture

Question
i have a little mcculloch chainsaw once i get it running  it will run for awhile untill it gets hot i guess mhc2mthen it shuts down an won`t start for quite awhile . a wehile back i read where there are one or two  caps of somekind i think on the carb,an if they were removed it would quit stalling out on me. can you please help me

Answer
 Hello Walt:

Remove the Muffler and Check the Exhaust Port and Miffler for Blockage. The Caps you are Asking about are the Air Mixture Screws for the Carburetor Jets. The Gets Hot and Wont Restart for Quite a While (or until cool) Indicates the Ignition Module/Coil is Bad. This is Only True if the Ehaust Port and Muffler are Clear. Send me the Model Numbers Off the Saw, Please. With these I can Locate a Breakdown/IPL and Better Assist you. Thanks.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully

 John
