Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): transmission, release valve, transaxle

Question
i have a riding mower with an hydrastatic transmission.it wont go forward or reverse.it is southern states brand 18.5 hp 42 inch cut. the brake is off,its not in push mode. it acts like it has a brake on it.and it goes into gear. what can i do?

 Hello Mike:

 A Hydro Transaxle Can Not be Rolled Unless the Transaxle has the Release Valve to Release the Control Valve Inside the Transaxle. Send me the Make and Model Numbers Of the OEM Plate Attached to the Transaxle, Please. With these I can Locate a Breakdown/IPL and Better Assist you. Thanks.
