Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): murry riding mower, blade switch, switch blade

Question
I have a 12hp 38 inc cut about 10 years old the key will not turn the motor over(nothing) I can start it by jumping crossing the solenoid I have replace al the switches. Whats wrong? Any help would be appreciated Thanks chuck

 Hello Chuck:

 If All the Switches have Been Replaced, then Using a Test Light Check the Power from the Ignition Switch to the Solenoid. Check the Wiring Harness for a Break. It Sounds like a Bad Clutch Switch, Seat Switch, Blade Switch or Neutral Switch. A Bad Ignition Switch will Cause this Also. Did you Replace the Solenoid? Have you Checked for a Fuse or Fuse Link at the Ignition Switch? Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Thanks.
