Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Need info, antique engine collectors, panther 2

I, have a Clinton Panther 2 cycle, model # 5000 0100 000 I, would like to know the correct plug # and the H.P. and the year. I, was told it was used on gocarts back in the day. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Wow! That's an old engine!  I would guess a Champion CJ8 as that was what the 4 cycle engines used.

Being a 2 cycle I'm not sure if it used the same plug.  Have you tried checking some of the go-carting message boards?  I'll ask a couple of the older guys at work to see if they know what plug it might take.
