Question
i got the chainsaw running but it wont idle and it leaks oil out of the exhaust pipe also how do i fix this issue i seen it had a idle screw and a hi and lo screw also what r those for

Answer
Hello Jim,
The idle speed screw is the screw that is the actual stop that controls how far open the throttle is held to maintain the correct idle speed.  The HI mixture screw controls the fuel mixture when the throttle is wide open and the LO mixture screw controls the fuel mixture when the throttle is mostly closed in the idle position.  I suspect that you need to adjust the LO mixture to get your chainsaw to idle.  It is normal to have some oil on the exhaust of a 2-cycle engine.  If it is leaking a lot check to see if you are using the correct gasoline to oil mix ratio which is usually around 40:1.  The mixing instructions are on the bottle of 2-cycle oil and will tell you how many ounces to add per gallon to get the proper mix ratio.  Hope this gets you going.
