Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Toro 724 not starting - starter kicks over, fuel transfers, fuel mixture

Question
The add on starter turns but does not catch.    Took heat box off and sprayed carb cleaner heavily to get decades of grime off; then it started and died immediately.  Gas comes out the fuel line at the carb, the carb interior is very clean. Fuel valve was left on since last winter with very little gas in the tank.  Is something gummed up where the fuel transfers through the inlet?  Carb has never been adjusted and has run fine for 4 winters now.  Any direction would be helpful.  Have the manual for it also

Answer
 Hello Phil:

From your Description it Sounds like the Fuel Mixture Jet is Clogged. Remove the Carburetor, Disassemble and Soak it Overnight in Carburetor Cleaner and then Blow it Out with Compressed Air. Install Carburetor Kit. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Thanks.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully
