Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): My lawn mowers starts and cut off quickly, engine model type, float bowl

My lawnmower is a Murray, and I need a diagram to see how to fix it after you tell me,or can you tell me what to do?

If you could assist me I would be grateful. It is a gasoline mower.

What is you engine model, type and code number?  If you have a float bowl style carburetor then you can try draining the carburetor fuel by removing the float bowl nut on the bottom of the carb.  Make sure the small holes in the float bowl nut are clean.
