Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): toro snow thrower model38035, merry christmas and happy new year, snow thrower

Question
Have toro snow thrower 38035 probably from late 80's
the engine runs but there is oil coming out of the breather
I took it out (seems ok ) I put a blank piece of metal to block the leak but that only kills the motor after a 30 seconds need advice if it is breather or speed too high or what else could it be . I changed oil 10w30 level is ok please help  thanks

Answer
 Hello George:

Replace the Crankcase Vent/Breather. The Carburetor is Drawing the Oil through the Crankcase Vent/Breather and Into the Air Filter. You can View a Breakdown/IPL of the Engine at this Addy http://shop.briggsandstratton.com/BShopProductListingPage.asp?rsvp=0&PARENTID=0&... and Enter the Model Numbers and the First 4 Type Numbers. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks. Be Safe.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully

 John

PS: Merry Christmas and Happy New Year (:-))
