Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): onan engine, hydra mac, happy thanksgiving

hi john, i just bought a 1984 hydra mac skid steer with an onan engine in it.model number nhcv-ms/3960d serial number c84375677. i picked it up for 2 grand and thought it was a pretty good deal. it ran great for about 10 minutes and then stalled. started again and ran for about 4 minutes and stalled again. now it won't start at all. it's getting gas, the fuel pump is working. theres 11.82 volts at the condenser, and at the coil but i don't think it is getting a spark. the condenser and points were just put in the day before i bought it.the previous owner is playing dumb. any ideas?        thanks rob

 Hello Robert:

 Check for Fire, Please. The Contact Set May have Slipped and They May need to be Reset. I have it Happen All the Time. Also, the Condenser can be Bad. I have Bought Many a New Part that Works for a Short Time and has to be Replaced. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.
