Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Wont start, spark plug, hp

Question
Have a 3.5 hp Murray push mower. It will not start has a new plug I pulled the new plug and it is very wet it does have spark what could be the problem thanks

Hi Chuck,

I would suspect weak spark, ignition timing or low compression.  Blow the spark plug off with compressed air and try again.  If it becomes wet again, look for weak spark or test for low compression.
