-----Question-----
John i have a problem with my 5 horsepower b&s tiller.  Ive replaced all the gaskets and the diaphram in the carb., I replaced the choke, Ive completely cleaned out the gas tank and the carb. even.  The problem is though, the only way it will start is if i take off the breather and pour gas into the carb., then it runs perfect.  I think i may have gotten the wrong choke though... can you help me out a lil bit here?

 Hello Trevor:

Send me the Make, Model, Type and Code Numbers Off the Engine, Please. With these, I can Locate a Breakdown/IPL and Better Assist you. Did you Soak the Carburetor Overnight in Carburetor Cleaning Solution and then Blow Out the Passages with Compressed Air? From your Description it Sounds like The Choke Port is Still Clogged.
Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Require more Assistance. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.

Answer
 Hello Trevor:

Did you Install the Spring and Spring Cap for the Pulse Pump Properly? If you Did Not Soak the Carburetor, then it Isn't Clean. Is the Compression Below 90psi? On this Type of Carburetor Sometimes when the Compression is Between 70psi and 90psi the Engine Doesn't Have Enough Vacuum to Pull the Initial Gas for Starting. You can View a Breakdown/IPL of the Engine and Carburetor at this Addy http://www.outdoordistributors.com/ and Select the B. Then Select Briggs and Stratton. Then Select Don't have Part Numbers. Then Select the File # 13. Then Select the Folder # 135200 that has to Many Type Numbers to List. This will Download a Breakdown/IPL for you to View Online. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.
