Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): k341AQS leaking oil from governor shaft, bolt nut, steel shaft

Question
I have oil leaking from brass governor shaft bolt/nut.  Brass governor bolt/nut was removed at one time (no intellegent reason for removal, simple curiosity).  Everything is now back together, but I have an oil leak and the only place I can see oil is around the governor shaft and governor arm.  I know that the governor shaft rotates or oscillates inside of the brass bolt/nut.  Brass (bolt/nut) being softer than steel (governor shaft), can I assume the internal diameter of the brass bolt/nut has been damaged?  I found a website once (can't seem to relocate it) where a man was selling a new and improved brass bolt/nut that I believe tapered back into the engine to seal on a new part of the steel shaft.  But, if the shaft is steel and the bolt/nut is brass, wouldn't any damage be on the brass piece only?  It seems to me that would be the reason for making the bolt/nut brass in the first place.  If that were the case, couldn't I just buy a new kohler relacement brass bolt/nut?  If it sounds like I am trying to talk myself into this conclusion, that is because I am.  Considering that I cannot find the website that sold the modified replacement part, my alternatives seem few.  I would appreciate any advice.
Thank you.

Answer
 Hello Matt:

Go with the Kohler Replacement. The Oil from Shaft is Rare and Seldom Gives a Problem Unless the Engine is Used for Commercial Purposes. Then the Modified Bolt/Nut would be the Choice. I have Heard of the Modified Replacement, but Don't know the Name or the Site. I Never needed to Replace Enough of the Shaft Bolts/Nuts to Worry with it. I kept the OEM's in Stock and Used 1 in 35 Years. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Thanks

 Good Luck

 Respectfully
