e have a JD tractor that we need to move manually- the release for the rear will not disengage -what would be the most obvious problem and how could i by pass this?

 Hello Harry:

 You will have to Repair the Release. Other than Removing the Drive Shaft or Possibly the Belt, there is No Release for the Rear End. You can View a Breakdown/IPL at this Addy http://jdpc.deere.com/jdpc/servlet/com.deere.u90490.partscatalog.view.servlets.H... and Enter the Model Numbers 318 and Click Find. Then Double Click on the Model in the Search Results Area. The Select Sectional Index. You can View All of the Tractor from this Window. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance.
