Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): B&S 6HP Quantum misfiring, tried everything!, brigs and stratton, wire insulation

Question
Hello, I bought a used mower with the 6HP Quantum Brigs and Stratton engine.
It is maybe 5 or 6 years old, hadn't been run for a few years, and possibly never had an oil change. Gas Tank had been drained before storage.

I changed the oil twice to get all the sludge out. It was very hard to start, and would misfire every few seconds.

I put in a new Champion 5861 Plug, new air Filter, adjusted flywheel/coil gap (was 1/8 inch on one side!).

I then disasembled entire carb, used 2+2 Carb Cleaner and compressed air to clean out all passages and jets.
I put some O-ring grease on o-ring between carb and engine, because I heard sometimes they leak from warpage.
I Tightened the head bolts (they seemed loose)

Now it starts really easily, but still misfires at all RPM's!

I checked Plug wire and shorting wire on coil for damage/shorts. Looked okay, but plug wire insulation seems slightly cracked?
Spark not too impressive but its there. Please help!

Answer
 Hello Rob:

Is there Any Popping? Add A Small Amount of Marvel Mystery Oil to the Gas. This will Help the Valve Stems Become Lubricated Quicker. A Valve May be Sticking. A Bad Coil will Cause this Problem. And the Carburetor can Also. Spray Cleaning a Carburetor Rarely Works. Most Times Soaking Overnight in Gunk Carburetor Cleaner is Required. Then Blow Out the Passages with Compressed Air. From your Description I would Say the Carburetor First, then the Coil. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.

 Good Luck
