Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Sears LT 1000 only runs with choke on, carburator, cleaning solution
QuestionI have a 2002 Sears LT 1000 that I did not use for one year. It starts OK but the gas lines dried out and leaked which I replaced...but now mower only runs when choke is on

From your Description I Suggest the Carburator be Cleaned and Rebuilt. Soak the Carburator Overnight in Cleaning Solution(Gunk carburator cleaner) and then Blow Out the Passages with Compressed Air.
