Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Tiller stuck in gear, roto tiller, needle valve

Question
My husqvarna roto-tiller has not been used for a couple years. Wouldn't start so cleaned the needle valve in the carburetor and fixed that part. It now is getting gas, which it wasnt. Now it fires but still doesn't run. It seems to be stuck in gear, I can move shifter into each T,F,N and R but in N you cannot move the tiller. As far as I can remember, I use to be able to. Will this prevent it from starting? And if so, how do I go about fixing this? Don't want to spend alot of loot, like tinkering on things myself. Help?

Answer
 Hello Debbie:

Cleaning the Needle Valve isnt going to Solve the Problem. Remove the Carburator and Soak it Overnight in Cleaning Solution(Gunk carburator cleaner). Then Blow Out the Passages with Compressed Air. Install New Kit. Once you get the Engine Started, the Clutch should Loosen up and you will be Able to Shift Gears. Send me the Model Numbers Off of the Tiller and the Engine and I can Locate a Breakdown/IPL of Each and Better Assist you. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.

 Good Luck
