Question -
have a 32 cc weedwacker model 358.791580. my problem started when the fuel filter came of tube in the gas tank. the unit is new but as usual out of warranty.usually i can fix almost anything.not this time. because i thought the carb sucked in some dirt i took it apart. cannot remove special fuel setting stems. have special knurled exterior requiring special removal tool. so i ordered a new carb.hooked it up weeks later but i must be getting old just not clear on the gas line hook ups. tried everything no gas is getting to the engine.the primer blub works fine gas goes through carb. but not into center of throat body to engine. cloged again maybe don't know ready to put it in the dumpster and never buy a craftman again.
could not find schematics of correct fuel line connections anywhere.asked for help from sears customer service not even a response.i would appreciate any advise before i have to buy a new one for next season gordy from connecticut

 Hello Gordon:

The Primer Bulb is used to Get the Fuel to the Carburator. Not to Choke the Carburator. You will Not See Fuel in the Throat of the Carburator from the Primer Bulb. The Choke Lever Chokes the Carburator. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.

 Good Luck

thanks for your imediate response john. i understand what you are saying. i should have indicated that i tested many aspects of why i'm not getting ignition not even a hickup. tested spark plug its fine.the unit is firing. when i bulb inject some gas  into center of carb. it fires up but when i fully choke carb nothing. no gas is being sucked up or choked drawn into engine.like when you pour some gas into a cars carb. it run a few seconds then quits when the carb. doesnt supply more gas.and i did try keeping engine at full throttle. i just feel i'm not properly hooked up to the gas tank two lines  and or primer bulb correctly. ive tried to many variations i forget what was the original set up. i foolishly did not make a scemantic like you would on  something a lot more complex. i should have taken the time the first time. now i have a perfectly good tool thats not worth the cost to have serviced along with a spare carb. and at least 10 hrs of frustration. my last chance if possible is to get the right info as to which lines goes to the carb and to the bulb primer.question should the gas be sucked through the the carb. or pushed by the bulb primer. there are two connections one from the gas tank ane one from the primer bulb on the carb.. which one ? again i would appreciate any advise. it would have been so much easier if craftman supplied the proper schmatics with the unit or the replacement carb. i sure hope nothing goes wrong with my new craftman snowblower. i just looked at my manual
for haha's and i guessed right dont take it apart without making a step by step info on how you take it apart. gordy from conn.

one straight fuel line connectiog goes to a chamber with a rubber gasket and the other goes to the chamber with a diaphragm those two special needle valves that need a special wrench.inside is the gas ports to the throat body. i hope thats enough info.

Answer
 Hello Gordon:

If I Recall Correctly it should be, The Pickup Line(has Filter in Tank) goes to the Primer, then from Primer to Diaphram of the Carburator, then Return from Carburator to Tank. I am trying to Locate my Manual for this Carburator. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.

 Good Luck
