Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Engine start, weedwacker, cycle oil

Question
Seems like my cord is stuck on this new 32cc Craftsman gasoline weedwacker. When I pull it'll only lift a few inches and no more. The problem started when the engine died down as I was cutting. Whats going on?

Answer
 Hello Carlos:

From your Description, it Doesnt Sound Goog. If I Understand you Correctly; You were Using the Trimmer and It Slowly Lost Speed and Quit. This Sounds Like the Gas to Oil Ratio Didnt Contain Enough 2-cycle Oil. The Piston has Seized to the Cylinder or the Rings have Become Frozen to the Cylinder. The Connecting Rod has Seized to the Crankshaft. The Damage is Internal. Remove the Muffler  and Look into the Exhaust Port. You Should be Able to See Inside the Cylinder. Is the Cylinder Smooth Like Glass or Scratched Up? If it is Scratched Up, then the Trimmer is Trashed. I Suggest you have a Mechanic Inspect the Trimmer if the Cylinder is Smooth. The Problem will Most likely be the Connecting Rod and The Crankshaft. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.
