Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Riding mower starter, briggs and stratton, hp briggs

I sent you an e-mail about a riding mower (1990 GT-185 W/ 18 hp Briggs and Stratton OHV Vanguard Engine).  The mower is a White.  Sorry I didn't include this in my original e-mail.

 Hello Todd:

 If the Starter Mounting Bolts are Under the Edge of the Flywheel and Bolt Vertically, the you will have to Measure the Starter Housing. If the Housing is 3 5/8", then the Briggs Part Number is 497596. If the Starter Housing is 4 3/8", then the Briggs Part Number is 498148. If the Starter Bolts Mount the Starter from the Side of the Engine, then the Briggs Part Number is 499521. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Let me know what Happens, Please.
