Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): no ignition, tecumseh engine, coil ignition

Question
I have a Troy Built rototiller with a Tecumseh OH195EA engine. When I tried to start it it had no spark tried a new coil but same problem. I read an earlier post on no ignition with the Tecumseh engine but the problem wasen't resolved

Answer
 Hello Tom:

The Coil/Ignition Module May be Bad. Even new Ones are Defective. Disconnect the Coil Shutoff Wire and Check for Spark. You can View a Breakdown/Illustrated Parts List at this Addy http://www.outdoordistributors.com/ and Click the T. Then Select Tecumseh. Then Select Dont have Part Numbers. Then Enter the Model Numbers OH195EA and Search. You will have to Locate the Type Numbers On the Engine to Locate the Proper Breakdown/IPL. Clean up the Magnets on the Flywheel and Make sure the Coil is Gapped .020 from the Flywheel. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully
